Eligibility of Brescia University College

The eligibility criteria for admission to our university includes having a minimum of 24 credits towards an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). In order to be considered for admission, applicants must have completed a university-oriented academic program with a minimum of 70% overall, with the majority of courses at an advanced level of difficulty. Academic records are carefully reviewed to determine eligibility. To provide some examples, applicants must have obtained passes in at least five academic subjects at the "O" level on the General Certificate of Education (GCE)/General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE), with a minimum grade of C. English must be one of the subjects, and it is highly recommended that applicants have studied mathematics, physics, or a foreign language. For students from the Caribbean, we will accept the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) Certificate in General Proficiency. A minimum of Grades One-Three (effective 1998) is required for admission. Conditional admission may be granted to students with anticipated or mock grades that represent a range of Grades One-Three.
