Eligibility of Cardiff University
Below are the general eligibility criteria for various programmes offered at Cardiff University.
Language proficiency: Cardiff University requires a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 for all courses. However, some courses may have a higher requirement. In case you do not meet the IELTS requirements, you can consider enrolling in the University's full-time English for University Study programme.
Undergraduate courses: Applicants must have scored a minimum of 78-81 percent in the top four subjects in their XII grade examinations, except Hindi and Physical Education.
Taught postgraduate courses: Students must have a graduate degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 55-60 percent.
Postgraduate research courses: Students must have prior research experience in addition to a master's degree from a recognized university. A bachelor's degree with a minimum passing mark of 55-60 percent is also required.
