Eligibility of Edinburgh Napier University

University: Academic Criteria: For Undergraduate admission, applicants must have completed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) with an overall score of 60% or above in their Intermediate (10+2) (XII Standard) exam. Advanced entry to the second year may be considered for students with grades over 75% in their year 12 exams from CBSE, ISC, and State Education boards in India, subject to apt subject requirements. As for Postgraduate studies, eligible candidates will possess one of the following qualifications: a 3-year bachelor's degree in general/pass with a minimum of 60%; a 3-year bachelor's degree in special/honours with at least 55%; or a 4-year bachelor's degree in a professional subject with a score of 55% or above. Similarly, for MBA (1 year) programs, applicants must hold a 3-year bachelor's general/pass degree with 60% or above, a 3-year bachelor's special/honours degree with a minimum of 55%, or a 4-year bachelor's degree in a professional subject with a score of 55% or higher. For MBA (Leadership Practice) (2 years), a 3-year bachelor's special/honours degree with a score of at least 60% or a 4-year bachelor's degree in a professional subject with 55% or above are the mandatory qualifications. State-specific conditions may apply in all cases. English Requirement: For admission into undergraduate courses, individuals with an overall score of 70% or above in English in their Indian HSC Intermediate (10+2) (XII Standard) exam may be exempted from providing another English test. However, this will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Postgraduate applicants must have obtained a grade of 70% or higher in English in their Indian HSC Intermediate (10+2) exam and have completed an undergraduate degree taught in English within the last two years. For those who graduated more than two years ago, a case-by-case evaluation will be conducted. State-specific conditions may apply, and applicants must adhere to these requirements.
