To be eligible to enroll in your desired programs, you must fulfill the academic and English language proficiency criteria specified below: All applicants must possess a high school diploma or be at least 19 years of age. For students who are applying using one of the following examinations - IELTS, TOEFL, or TOEIC - the minimum scores accepted are as follows: To be accepted into Makeup + Co-Op programs, a minimum of IELTS 4.5, TOEFL 61, or TOEIC 555-600 is required. For Fashion/Core Design + Co-Op programs, a minimum of IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 70, or TOEIC 650-700 is required. For Hair + Co-Op programs, a minimum of IELTS 5, TOEFL 65, or TOEIC 600-650 is required. And for Body Spa + Co-Op programs, a minimum of IELTS 5, TOEFL 65, or TOEIC 600-650 is necessary.
In case applicants do not have an approved score for any of the English language proficiency examinations, their English proficiency will be evaluated through our internal JCI English Comprehension Test. A minimum score of 65% is mandatory for admission to BOD, FAB, HAD, and MUA programs, while a minimum of 75% is needed for admission to FAD programs.
