- Directly from high school students aged 24 and under are required to take the ACT or SAT and must achieve an ACT composite score of 21 or SAT combined score of 990 to be deemed "program ready".
- Students aged 25 and over who have not attended college are not required to submit ACT or SAT scores, but must fulfill other prerequisites for admission.
- Those who do not have an ACT or SAT score may be accepted into a pre-program or certificate program that does not require scores.
- Students with low math scores on the ACT or SAT may take a math placement assessment to determine their course placement.
- Applicants who do not meet the minimal criteria for admission into certain majors are encouraged to start as a pre-major and complete the necessary requirements.
