MetFilm School is a renowned private film university, established in 2003 in London, consisting of five branches: MetFilm school, MetFilm Production, Metfilm Sales, MetFilm Features, and Screen Space. The campus is situated in the prestigious Ealing Studios in West London, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. It has two locations, namely London and Berlin, providing students with industry-standard equipment for personal and academic projects. MetFilm School offers undergraduate degrees in BA practical postgraduate courses in Directing, Screenwriting, Producing, Cinematography, Post-production, and Documentary and Factual. The college also provides certificates for a range of courses, including arts, design, architecture, journalism, and media, as well as humanities. It also caters to young learners aged 14-17 years with specialized courses. Weekends and short courses are also available. The annual fee ranges from EUR 15,000 to EUR 25,000, depending on the course. The school has a 2,000 sq. foot film stage, two teaching blocks, a separate studio space, over 100 Apple Macintosh workstations, and a large student-maintained post-production room. A filmmaking kit with high-end digital cameras, sound recording equipment, TV studio vision mixing, and post-production suites is also available. The accommodation for students is available in collaboration with Central Studios Ealing. MetFilm School aims to support students in furthering their education by providing accredited and voluntary online courses in the language of filmmaking through a virtual learning platform. It is the first school in the UK to have an employment support team that connects students with opportunities in the screen industry.
