Eligibility of Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) - Main

An ELP evaluation is mandatory for applicants who have studied less than three years full-time in English. The exam results are valid for two years from the date of the exam and the latest ELP scores will be considered for assessment. Taking the ESL Placement Exams is required for students enrolling in an NAIT ESL program, but they cannot be used to demonstrate English proficiency for most NAIT programs.
