Eligibility of Sault College - Toronto

The English language proficiency is a mandatory requirement for diploma and college certificate programs. The testing results must be from within two years of the program's commencement date and must meet the following criteria: 1. A minimum TOEFL iBT score of 79-80, with no individual scores below 20 on the Internet-based test. 2. An IELTS Academic score of 6.0, with no band scores below 5.5. 3. Qualified in the Cambridge English Exam with a grade of B or above in either C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency. 4. Scoring 169 or higher in the Cambridge English Exam, with no individual score below 162. 5. Achieving an Academic PTE score of 60 or higher. 6. Scoring 105 or higher in the Duolingo exam. 7. Achieving a minimum score of 60 in the CAEL CE exam. 8. Meeting the Level 7 requirement in all categories (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB). For Indian students, the following qualifications are accepted: Secondary School Certificate/Intermediate Certificate, Senior School Certificate, Higher Secondary School Certificate, Year 12 State Board Exams such as AISSCE, ISCE, SSC, or Pre-University Certificate Statement of Marks.
