Eligibility of Simon Fraser University

Academic Criteria Undergraduate: Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC)/ India School Certificate/All India Senior School Certificate are accepted with an average score of 50-60%. Graduate: For Graduate diploma/certificate courses, a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum overall grade of B completed in four years is required. Masters: A four-year Bachelor's degree with a specific minimum total grade is needed for admission. The required grade could be first class or a CGPA of 8 out of 10. Doctoral: For Doctoral programs, a Master's degree or equivalent in fields like Engineering, Forestry, or Medicine is accepted. The minimum required grade is first class or a CGPA of 8 out of 10. English Language Requirements: For all academic courses, candidates must demonstrate their proficiency in English. This can be fulfilled by providing a certificate of proficiency from a recognized authority or by obtaining a score of at least 6.5 in IELTS (International English Language Testing System) or 79 in TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language). Those whose first language is English or who have completed their studies in English are exempt from this requirement.
