Southern Cross University (SCU), ranked among the top 100 young universities worldwide, is a public university established in 1994. It has campuses located at Lismore and Coffs Harbour in northern New South Wales, as well as the southern end of the Gold Coast in Queensland. The university also operates the National Marine Science Centre, The Hotel School Sydney, and The Hotel School Melbourne. The average tuition fee ranges from 26,800 AUD to 32,000 AUD, depending on the chosen area of study. To provide financial aid, SCU awards scholarships like the Destination Australia Scholarship worth 15,000 AUD. Additional scholarships include the International Advancement Scholarship, Dr. Allan Phan Scholarship, and Nathan Asher Student Experience Scholarship, all worth 5,000 AUD. Upon graduation, SCU students have a high placement rate with 75% of undergraduate and 87% of postgraduate students securing employment. The average salary for undergraduates is 80,506 AUD, while postgraduates earn an average of 110,600 AUD.
