Eligibility of Swinburne University of Technology
Listed below are the admission requirements for undergraduate and postgraduate students at this university. Please note that these guidelines are provided for Indian students and may vary for students from other countries.
For Undergraduate Students:
To be eligible for admission, students must possess a high school certificate or diploma. Indian students are required to have scored at least 60% marks in their Grade 12 exams. Although not mandatory, the university also accepts SAT or ACT scores for admission consideration.
In terms of language proficiency, students must meet one of the following criteria:
- IELTS score of 6.0 or higher
- TOEFL (i-BT) score of 64 overall, with 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking, and 21 in Writing
- PTE score of 50 with a minimum of 50 in all skills
- C1 Advanced score of 169 with no band below 169
- Duolingo score of 95-100
For Postgraduate Students:
As a prerequisite for admission, students must hold an undergraduate degree from a recognized university. Indian students are required to have scored at least 60% marks in their Bachelor's degree, although some courses may require higher marks.
