Originally known as the University of the Arts London, but called the London Institute from 1986 to 2004, UAL is a highly ranked institution for art and design, coming in at second place globally in the 2021 QS World University Rankings. Consisting of six prestigious colleges - the Camberwell College of Arts, Chelsea College of Arts, London College of Fashion, London College of Communication, Wimbledon College of Arts, and Central Saint Martins - UAL offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate, post-graduate, pre-degree, and short courses in 18 different fields.
