Undergraduate Course Eligibility Guidelines: Candidates must meet the minimum requirements in academics for a bachelor's degree. The following criteria is based on different fields of study: 2 years of education in science and history, 4 years of education in English (or a language of instruction), 3 years of education in math (recommended to have 4 years), 2 years of education in a language other than English (recommended to have 3 years), and at least 1 year of education in Arts of Seeing and Acting. Qualifying Exams - SAT/ACT Scores: Effective for the Fall Semesters of 2021 to 2024, no standardized tests will be considered for freshmen applicants to UC Davis. This includes the selection process and awarding of scholarships. However, test scores may be used to fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements or for course placement after enrollment, if submitted with the application. Graduate Course Eligibility Guidelines: As a basic requirement, applicants must have or will obtain a bachelor's degree with a GPA of 3.0 or equivalent. The degree obtained must be in alignment with the coursework and financial aid standards set by the University of California. Regional accreditation is necessary for US colleges, while foreign institutions must be approved by a national higher education body at the time the degree was earned. Indian students must meet specific national requirements, including having a postgraduate or master's degree and a four-year or three-year bachelor's degree from state or central boards that have been approved.
