The University of Louisiana offers a wide range of undergraduate programs including Business, Computer Sciences, Agriculture Business, Biology, Arts, and Psychology. In order to apply for admission, students must meet the following requirements: submit original transcripts, provide proof of high school completion or diploma, have a minimum GPA of 2.35, and submit scores for either the ACT (code 1598) or SAT (code 6482). Additionally, students must also provide proof of immunization and meet the required score on an English proficiency exam.

The admission requirements for graduate programs at ULM include submitting a complete ULM proposal, holding a bachelor's degree from a reputable institution, providing original transcripts and GRE/GMAT scores, having a minimum GPA of 2.75, and submitting a statement of financial position and valid visa.
International students whose first language is not English must also submit scores from an English proficiency test. This requirement is waived for students who speak English as a first language, score 100 on the TOEFL IBT, 600 on the TOEFL PBT, 250 on the TOEFL CBT, or 7.0 on the IELTS, or have completed a four-year college diploma in the United States. ULM accepts scores from the following tests: IELTS with a minimum of 5.5, IBT (61), PBT (500), CBT (173) TOEFL, and Duolingo (85).
