In the 2021 US News & World Report university rankings, the University of York has dropped one spot from its previous ranking of 259th to 264th. Eligibility of University of York

Eligibility requirements for admission consideration at our university include having a bachelor's degree with honours or an equivalent qualification from an accredited post-secondary institution. Certain programmes may also consider applicants with a three-year bachelor's degree, along with relevant job experience. A minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 'B' or its equivalent is mandatory for all applicants. The GPA from the final two years of education will be taken into account during the evaluation process. Additionally, meeting the English language proficiency requirements is crucial.
