Level 1 Programs Language Requirements:
In order to qualify for Level 1 Programs, the following language proficiency levels must be met:
- For Essential of Acting, Visual Art & Design Foundation, Designing Makeup for Film and Television, and Visual Media Sound Design, applicants must achieve a minimum of Band 6.0 on the IELTS academic level test.
- A score of 68 on the internet-based TOEFL (iBT) or 520 on the paper-based TOEFL (PBT) is required for all Level 1 programs.
- A score between 52 and 57 on the Pearson Test of English (PTE) is also accepted for these programs.
- An overall score of 700 on the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) is required.
- A minimum grade of C on the Cambridge English: First (FCE) exam is accepted.

- For Visual Effects & 3D Animation, Film & Television Acting, Concept Art for Animation, Animation in the Classical Style, Design for the Internet, Making a Movie, Designing Video Games, Game, Web, and Mobile Programming, Writing for Film, TV, and Video Games, and Design and Development of Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR), a minimum score of 6.5 on the IELTS academic level test is required.
- A minimum score of 80 on the internet-based TOE
