Eligibility of Humber College - International Graduate School
To be eligible for admission to any program level, students must provide evidence of their proficiency in English. This may include fulfilling at least one of the following requirements at a level appropriate for their chosen program:
- Completion and submission of results from one of the following assessment methods:
- A minimum of two years of full-time study in a secondary school with instruction and evaluation in English, in a country where it is recognized as the primary language.
- A minimum of two years of successful study in an accredited university degree program, or college diploma program, where English is the language of instruction.
- Submitting valid scores from a recognized international English language test, taken within the last 24 months for academic programs, or within the last 18 months for placement into English for Academic Purposes (EAP). See minimum required scores below.
This is the criteria for English proficiency that students must meet for admission to our university. It applies to all levels of study and requires students to demonstrate their fluency in English through one of the following methods:
- Presenting their academic transcript from a school where English is the primary language, with a minimum of two full-time years of study.
