Eligibility of IBT College
Please note that the minimum age requirement for applying to any programme at IBT College is 18 years old. A photocopy of your passport with the page showing your photo and date of birth is required as part of the application process. You must also demonstrate proficiency in English, although certain exemptions may apply based on your country of origin. Applicants who have successfully completed the IBT College Admission Test will be exempt from taking an English proficiency test. Upon review of all required documents, a pre-acceptance letter (PAL) will be issued within 2 business days. The PAL will include instructions on finalizing your registration and obtaining an acceptance packet. This packet will be sent within 2 working days after payment of the registration fee and following the directions provided in the PAL. The acceptance packet will contain all necessary documents for your study permit application to Immigration Canada, including a written acceptance letter, letter of cooperation (if applicable), payment receipt, and acceptance letter for the ESL Pathway (if applicable). Once your study permit has been approved, you will be required to meet with our Student Services Coordinator to sign your enrollment contract. During this meeting, you will need to provide your valid VISA for students and workers as well as proof of valid medical insurance. This information is crucial for the success of your studies at IBT College.
