Eligibility of University of New Brunswick
Below is the minimum English language proficiency required for direct admission into most academic programmes at the university. This is applicable for undergraduate applicants whose first language is not English:
- In order to be eligible, applicants must have a minimum overall score of 85 on the TOEFL IBT.
- Alternatively, a minimum overall score of 60 on the CAEL CE or CAEL Online is accepted.
- A minimum overall score of 6.5 on the IELTS or IELTS Indicator is also acceptable.
- For the Pearson Vue Test, a minimum score of 59 is required.
- Applicants can also meet the language requirement with a minimum overall score of 115 on the Duolingo test.
