Eligibility of Cornerstone International Community College of Canada - Cornerstone Tech
Cornerstone College offers three intake options for international students: September, February, and July. To apply for a diploma program, there are four steps to follow.
Firstly, interested candidates must complete an online application form. Then, they must gather a copy of their passport and an English proficiency test score. However, for those applying for ESL programs, a test score is not required.
Next, applicants need to create an online profile and upload their necessary documents through the online platform. If an English proficiency test has not been taken, a placement test is mandatory for international students enrolling in English courses or other career programs. Scoring high on the TOEFL PBT (min. 513), TOEFL CBT (min. 183), TOEFL iBT (min. 65), or IELTS Academic (min. 5.5) will suffice. Alternatively, applicants can take the Cornerstone Placement Test and score at the high intermediate level.
Once admission requirements are met and all documents have been submitted, the college will send an invoice requiring the first payment. Upon receiving this payment, a letter of acceptance will be issued. Then, the applicant can proceed to apply for a student and work permit (if opting for co-op).
