Eligibility of Dartmouth College
1. Dartmouth has specific participation requirements for its programmes and courses. Some majors may also have subject-specific criteria. International students must meet the following eligibility requirements for the relevant programmes:
Undergraduate Admissions: To be considered for admission, applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a high school diploma or certification from an accredited institution. They are also required to submit SAT or ACT scores. Only the Class of 2026 is exempt from this requirement.
Graduate/Engineering Admissions: Those seeking a bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, or computer science must apply for a bachelor's degree in that field. For other fields, GRE scores are mandatory except for those applying for the Dartmouth AB and Thayer School Dual Degree.
MBA Admissions: In addition to a valid bachelor's or master's degree, applicants must provide their GRE or GMAT scores.
MD Admissions: Candidates with a bachelor's degree in Humanities and Science who have conducted extensive research in Health, Human Behavior, and Society have a strong foundation in science. They must have completed at least three years of post-secondary education at universities or colleges in the US or Canada. All applicants must score at least 503 in their MCAT. While the admissions committee evaluates each application individually, most successful applicants have a combined median MCAT score of 515 and a median GPA of 3.65.
