Eligibility of Trent University - Peterborough

To be eligible for enrollment in your desired courses, you must fulfill the following academic criteria: A minimum of 70% average in the best four academic subjects, including English, in Standard XII, along with scores from the Standard X certificate. You will also be required to take an English proficiency test, unless you have completed the CBSE curriculum, which exempts you from this requirement. Commerce students from Indian Senior High Schools are exempted from having Mathematics as a mandatory subject for admission into the Bachelor of Business Administration program. For the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, you must have completed English, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics as your four core subjects. Similarly, for the Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science program, you must have completed English, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and either Physics or Earth and Space Science. You must also have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher. To fulfill the English language proficiency requirements, you must provide evidence of meeting both academic and English language proficiency criteria, including the following:

Placements

This is a brief summary of the opportunities available for field courses at our university. These placements cover a wide range of industries and academic subjects, providing students with a chance to explore their interests and gain practical experience. Each field course requires students to complete a minimum of 100 hours of service at their placement host throughout one academic semester. This translates to approximately one day per week for a span of 12 weeks. Students also fulfill all of their academic requirements through these placements. While the majority of placements are unpaid volunteer opportunities, they offer invaluable experience to our students.
